TBEI Announces New VP/GM of Dump Body Division

Homewood, Alabama, April 7, 2021 – Truck Bodies and Equipment International, Inc. (TBEI), a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, is pleased to announce that Henry Bell has been promoted to the newly established position of Vice President/General Manager (“VP/GM”) of the TBEI Dump Body Division, and that Roger Crawford will assume the position of Ox Bodies General Manager. This new division of TBEI will continue to report to Bob Fines, VP/GM of TBEI, as he focuses on the integration of the recently acquired OSW Equipment & Repair, LLC (“OSW”), the ongoing development of the TBEI Trailer Division, and the assessment of potential future acquisitions in the TBEI space.

In his new role, Bell will oversee the Dump Body Division, consisting of the Ox Bodies, DuraClass, Rugby, Crysteel, and J-Craft business units. The creation of this new division comes as the TBEI portfolio has expanded to include the recent acquisition of OSW and its subsidiaries.

“Henry has been a valuable part of the TBEI team for the past 8 years,” said Bob Fines. “We look forward to his new role as head of the Dump Body Division and are confident that he will be a strong leader and contributor to the future success of the company.”

Bell joined TBEI in 2013 as VP of Sales and Marketing, and in 2017 he was promoted to General Manager of Ox Bodies. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Bell has deep expertise in management, sales and marketing, lean manufacturing/5S, and organizational development.

Prior to joining TBEI, Bell held management roles of increasing responsibility at Heil Environmental Industries, Ltd. and Marmon Highway Technologies. Bell came to TBEI from Marmon’s subsidiary Fontaine Fifth Wheel Company, where he was Global President. Bell’s unique experience, proven leadership skills, and firsthand knowledge of TBEI’s operations will play a major role in the continued success of the Dump Body Division.

“I am excited for this opportunity to lead such a dynamic group of market-leading companies and I look forward to building on past successes,” said Bell. “Ox Bodies is a great business, with a strong brand, quality products, and market-leading market positions and I know it will continue to thrive under Roger Crawford’s direction.”

Roger Crawford will be promoted to assume the role of Ox Bodies General Manager. Crawford has been the Director of Sales and Marketing for Ox Bodies since November 2017 and has over 34 years of experience in the industry. Prior to his time at TBEI, Crawford held roles of increasing responsibility with The Marmon Group, including management roles at Fontaine Truck Equipment, Marmon Highway Technologies, and Fontaine Fifth Wheel Company.
